DS Smith’s Last-Minute Magic: Spreading Holiday Cheer at youthSpark’s 12th Annual Youth Recognition Ceremony

In the nick of time, DS  a global packaging and recycling company, rallied their team and emerged as one of the heroes for our Annual Youth Recognition Ceremony! As the event approached, DS Smith stepped in at the last minute with a van full of DS Smith branded tumblers filled to the brim with goodies, including Chick-fil-A gift cards serving as tangible tokens of encouragement and special recognition for our kids, reinforcing the idea that they are valued and celebrated by their community this holiday season.

DS Smith, hailing all the way from the 42nd floor of the tallest building in Atlanta, does not neglect to engage with the surrounding community. Their belief in corporate engagement is like a hug for community issues, and we are over the moon about growing our new partnership! Guided by core values—Be Caring, Challenging, Trusted, Be Responsive, Be Tenacious. It only takes a spark to ignite something big, and Accounts Receivable - Collections Analyst, Ms. Sydney Carter, showed us the power of just one person this season. Her passion for agencies serving teens led her to youthSpark, and her message to our kids is a cozy reminder: dream big, as the past won't shape your future.

DS Smith's engagement with us exemplifies the positive impact of corporate responsibility. As they actively contribute to community well-being, DS Smith sets an inspiring example for businesses, encouraging them to actively empower society, and specifically youth, our future. Through their commitment to core values and the encouragement to dream big, DS Smith remains a beacon of corporate responsibility and community empowerment.
